 I had the absolute pleasure of working with Vanessa in the insurance industry. Her true essence of hard work, belief in herself and others, love and philanthropy shows through in her book. We can all learn lessons from her story. If you don’t want to level up after this read, I’d be surprised. Thanks for sharing and continuing to inspire Vanessa. You are a gift to all who know you and to all who read your book. 

 I loved the book! Raw and inspiring you get the view from the inside out about the journey of a young ladies life that was full of dreams and goals. Challenging each hurdle taking a Penultimate Step on her journey in falling in love, entering a man business world and succeeding, becoming a mother and a successful business woman. 

 The Penultimate is full of wisdom that we always need to hear and reflect but best of all it is heart warming book. Super read for anyone but especially inspiring for young females and runners. 

It's a great book! It highlights the notion of why 'Penultimate' can be so significant. Extraordinary accomplishments may be achieved by ordinary people taking the extra step. Vanessa immerses us in her journey in which those life lessons of the penultimate step prepare us mentally, physically, and emotionally to succeed in the worthiest of goals: our own!

 Vanessa Bucklin is the real deal. I've worked with Vanessa and watched her grow her insurance agency over the past eight years and have always held her in high esteem. What makes her worthy of learning from is that she has such a determined mindset. She has used her education, work experience and life experience to not just find her path but MAKE the path. Read this book. Understand from where she came and how she continues to work towards achieving whatever she decides to do. Let her inspire you. She inspires me constantly!
